On Tuesday, The Academy unveiled its 2019 Oscar nominations, and to no one's surprise, Egyptian-American Rami Malek made it to the list.
Malek was nominated for his role in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, in which he plays the legendary Freddie Mercury. The film walks audiences through the band's rise from the 1970s up until the band's Live Aid performance in 1985, which has been dubbed the "greatest rock performance of all time."
The 91st annual Academy Awards will air live on Feb. 24 ... but people are already anticipating Malek's win. In response to his nomination, Twitter users are using the actor's memes and gifs to celebrate the announcement.
