People in the UAE aren't used to donning layers of clothes on their bodies during any season, not even winter. But, this year saw quite a different trend.
In recent days, the temperature in the UAE dipped, causing quite a fuss among people in the country - both online and offline. The chilly weather is expected to continue for a few more days, as one weather forecaster told Khaleej Times.
But, for people who don't live in the UAE, it feels like quite an exaggeration, considering the temperature in most parts of the country has been hovering between 18 to 24 degrees Celsius during the day (which is practically summer in other countries around the world).
On Sunday, the temperature reached its lowest (2.7 degrees Celsius) in Jebel Jais, in Ras Al Khaimah.
And well, for a country whose summer is pretty deadly, the reaction to the drop in temperature is understandable.
