The digital era has prompted many challenges to take over countless social media platforms. There was the #KikiChallenge in 2018, the #10YearChallenge in 2019, and now there's a Quran challenge taking over Twitter.

The challenge has seen several Muslims on Twitter sharing recitations of the Quran, Islam's holy book. Many have also been sharing photos of select verses taken from the Quran.

"Finally a challenge that brings benefits," one Twitter user wrote.

"I just had to get involved"

"Tarawih speed"

"Surah Al-Fil"

"Surah Baqarah"

Many are attempting to read several pages a day

Dedication to a whole new level

"Surah Qaf"
