The Arab world has been longing for the American sitcom Friends to be produced by Arabs, for Arabs, and in Arabic.

Time and time again, people tried imagining the ever-popular TV show having this oriental twist. What if it were filmed in Beirut? What if the cast were to be Arab stars or pure Khaleeji celebrities?

Endless scenarios took place in the past few years, but nothing came close to this marvelous bit ... a full-on melodramatic khaleeji opening credits for Friends.

Earlier this week, Instagram account Channel_KTV imagined what the opening titles for Friends would look like if it were a Kuwaiti show.

First, the opening credits of most Kuwaiti series usually look like this:

Yes, it goes on for five minutes.

Now watch the Kuwaiti opening for "Friends"

The viral version of the sitcom's opening credits made everyone LOL

"I died."

No one could even with it

"This is right on point"

"This shit is real"

"Imagine if this were serious"

"This edit"

"I got depressed"

"People who love sadness and heartbreaks"

"The most important part is 'the annoying one'" ... referencing to Janice

"You know the whole story from the song"

Others felt it was so good it actually ruined "Friends"

"They ruined the show."

This is the best thing on the internet now
