Muslim nasheed (vocal music sung in the form of chants) artist Omar Esa is known for performing his recitations in three languages: English, Arabic and Urdu.

Prior to reciting nasheeds without the use of instruments, Esa was an R&B artist. 

He now writes, composes and sings his own material and focuses on Islamic themes in his work.

In a recent Facebook post, Esa shared an image of himself alongside four other men with a caption that reads: 

"The ultimate halal boyband."

Esa then asked his fans to suggest different names for the nasheed group in the comments section of the post. The suggestions are hilarious.
