U.S. President Donald Trump will participate in an international Islamic summit in Riyadh this weekend ... but it doesn't stop there.

Trump will be delivering a speech to leaders from more than 20 Muslim-majority nations ... about "radical Islam."

The president's address, according to National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, will be "inspiring yet direct," according to Time

"The speech is intended to unite the broader Muslim world against common enemies of all civilization and to demonstrate America's commitment to our Muslim partners," said McMaster.

Despite the fact that Trump has continuously called for a "ban on Muslims" from entering the U.S. and the fact that he has explicitly expressed concern over a (non-existent) "Muslim problem" with statements that include "Islam hates us," it seems the president may have had a change of heart ... maybe. It's either that, or he just happens to love certain Muslims more than others.

Trump's Saudi leg will be his first international trip since taking office, much to the delight of Saudi Arabia's King Salman who expressed optimism about the summit and the start of a "new partnership" between the U.S. and the Muslim world.

But the internet isn't really feeling the love. Here are just some of the reactions that broke the scene in the aftermath of the announcement
