Heavy rain has been falling across several Saudi cities this week, including Mecca.
People praying at the city's holy site have been sharing footage of rainfall in its premises all week-long, but one seems to have struck a chord with social media users.
The video captures a man and woman, who are said to be a married couple, walking under the rain outside the Great Mosque of Mecca.
In it, the man can be seen covering the woman with a part of his white ihram clothing.
The footage was uploaded on Twitter earlier this week and has since gone completely viral.
It's taking social media by storm
Though some speculated the video's details and also heavily criticized it
"1. How do you know she's his wife, not his mother?
2. Why pry on them and film this?
3. OK, you filmed it, why share it?
4. Most people show mercy to those who are related to them, or is that surprising to you?"
However, not all the reactions to the viral footage were negative
"I swear this is so cute."
Many absolutely loved it
"Such a beautiful moment."
"Manhood is defined by actions"
Some couldn't even express themselves
"It's rare to find such a person"
"Clip of the week"
"Mashallah"
"May God bless them"
The footage reminded people of another viral Mecca moment
Footage of this duo reminded tweeps of the viral photo of a woman providing shade to a man who was kneeling down to pray in the sun during last year's Hajj season.
The photo - taken by Saudi photographer Raeid Allehyani - was originally shared via Twitter by Allehyani on Sep. 2 with a caption that read:
"He used to call her the moon, so she eclipsed the sun for him."
