Joining other major productions like Star Trek: Beyond, and Brad Pitt's War Machine , Jackie Chan 's latest film Kung Fu Yoga will be shooting in the UAE – specifically Dubai – this September.
The movie, which also stars Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, is the first of a three-movie deal made between the Chinese and Indian governments when Chinese president Xi Xinpeng visited India last year. Kung Fu Yoga will be directed by Stanley Tong, who has previously worked with Chan on a number of films.
While the film was supposed to shoot entirely in India, IMDB has already started to list line crew in Dubai, hinting that work is already underway in the city, with sources corroborating the fact to The National .
