In yet another display of Islamophobia, a customer in a Texas supermarket went on a racist rant upon encountering a Muslim woman in the parking lot.

The woman called out Mai Mohamed, a hijabi Egyptian teacher in the U.S., and told her to "get the f**k back to her country." The vile incident was captured by Mohamed and uploaded to Facebook by her friend.

The Muslim woman had been filling up her water bottle outside Kroger, a supermarket chain in the United States, when the unnamed lady approached her. The Islamophobe began her racist rant by describing Mohamed as "ugly." She then flipped off the hijabi woman. She continued with expletives and told her to "get back to your f**king country, bi*ch*."

She can then be heard telling a bystander - a Kroger employee, to be more specific - that "this lowlife needs to go back to her f**king country." The employee did nothing to support the woman being attacked. When she approached him, he said:

"You need to get the camera off. You can't use that on the web."

Following the incident, indy100 spoke with Mohamed's friend who said that "Mai is fine but does not plan to go shopping alone [in the] near future."

Kroger also responded to comments on social media with regards to the unfazed Kroger employee, who has since been identified as a manager.

"We have identified this was an isolated incident involving two customers in the parking lot of our store. And our store manager tried to peacefully resolve the negative interaction. We value all our customers and apologize if anyone was made to feel less than welcomed," the chain wrote in a tweet

Many took to social media in an attempt to spread awareness on the spike in Islamophobia in the U.S.

"We cannot tolerate this hate"

"I'm trying to understand how she even has the audacity to tell someone to go back to their country, when it's apparent that she herself has an accent"

"A woman with a non-native accent tells someone else with an accent to go back home"

"The irony is off the charts"

"Infuriating that the guy just stood there"

"Another day in Trump's America"

In just the first 100 days of Trump's presidency, Islamophobic incidents at U.S. borders spiked by 1,035 percent.

According to preliminary data released by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), 193 incidents involving U.S. Customs and Borders Protection were recorded from January to March of 2017, up from just 17 cases during the same period last year. Of the 193, 181 were recorded after Trump's attempted "Muslim ban."

In 2017, a 17-year-old Muslim teen was found dead in Fairfax, Virginia. The teen, identified as Nabra Hassanen, was walking back to the mosque to continue Ramadan prayers after having suhoor with a group of four or five other teens when the incident happened in June. They were confronted by a motorist as they were walking. All, except Hassanen, fled the scene and ran towards the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) mosque, leaving her behind. The perpetrator beat Hassanen to death with a metal baseball bat. Her body was found in a pond located a couple miles from the mosque.
