Age is not just a number in the Arab world. In fact, it's become a basis for phrases used in our everyday language.
One example is the usage of the phrase "3a2bel el 100" when wishing someone a happy birthday as if aging is somehow synonymous with happiness. But, the average life expectancy in the Arab world is not placed anywhere near the 100+ range.
Data compiled by the World Bank, derived from male and female life expectancy at birth, reveals the average age Arabs live up to. Note that Palestine is not among the countries explored by the World Bank.
