Arabs love pulling pranks ... that's not up for debate.

But, would you have thought that companies in the Arab world would have picked up this habit?

Well, this year's April Fools' Day proved that companies are really on top of their game when it comes to pranks.

Here's a glimpse:

1. An Egyptian publication made people believe Egypt will build a colony on Mars ... 67 years before the UAE

Egyptian Streets, an independent news organization in Egypt, published a news story titled, "Egypt Plans to Build First City on Mars".

"Egypt’s government has announced plans to build a city on Mars by 2050, heralding a new era of space exploration by the Egyptians," its opening line said.

The fake article even quotes a non-existent space agency official, "Ahmed Abreel", which some realized stood for "April".

Egyptian Streets later updated the post with an editor's note, clarifying that the piece was only an April Fools' joke.

"For those still opening this link, this story was published to mark April Fool’s Day. We felt this was important after a leading private Egyptian newspaper initially reported this as true [sic]," Egyptian Streets wrote.

"However, we do one day hope Egypt will expand its focus on science and research, and maybe even launch a space agency as has been planned for several years."

2. Lebanese restaurant Kababji announced a 'drone delivery'

On Mar 31, Kababji Lebanon posted an image of a "drone delivery" service that will "soon be available."

"Taking delivery service to new heights," the restaurant captioned the image on Facebook.

Many people began questioning the legitimacy of the post, asking if it's for real.

It honestly would have been epic if drone delivery were a reality in Lebanon given the massive traffic jams.

3. A pizza shake brought to you by ... Pizza Express in the UAE

Pizza Express in the UAE decided to fool people into thinking they're actually introducing a "pizza shake," to help people save up on time when eating.

Would you dare try this, if it were a real thing?

4. A halloumi & zaatar chocolate bar ... because KitKat needs a break from the ordinary

On April Fools' Day, KitKat Arabia introduced "the ultimate breakfast" chocolate bar spiced up with some zaatar and halloumi.

The Facebook image began making the rounds online, garnering over 16,000 likes and nearly 1,000 shares on the social media platform at the time of writing.

5. People fell for "Green Rain" in the UAE ... because Careem

Dubai-based ride-hailing app Careem announced that it would be "sponsoring cloud seeding across the UAE as it's proven to be so good for business" one day before April Fools' Day.

The company didn't stop there. It also said it would make "green rain" a reality.

Many, hilariously, fell for it.

6. Swimming while flying? Emirates made it look as real as ever

Emirates unveiled plans for what they described as the "world's largest commercial aircraft," in posts shared on their social media pages one day before April Fools' Day.

Named the Triple-Decker APR001, many quickly made the link, calling the airlines out.

Soon enough, Emirates gave in and announced that it was all one big prank. It was a good one, indeed.

7. Lebanon's Wooden Bakery wanted people to think Brad Pitt was in town ...

This prank just takes the cake. Really.
