Emirates unveiled plans for what they describe as the "world's largest commercial aircraft," in posts shared on their Twitter and Facebook pages late on Friday.
Named the Triple-Decker APR001, the aircraft includes a swimming pool, games room, gym and a theme park.
The social media posts also included visual renderings of the aircraft, revealing its three floors and a few of its interior features.
While it remains unclear whether the aircraft is going to be an Airbus or Boeing, it looks like it's going to be a turning point in the world of aviation.
Not much of a surprise given that the airline has always been in the lead when it comes to its fleet, stellar entertainment options and service.
Good one Emirates?
While the news seemed legit, complete with intriguing images and details, a closer look made us feel a bit suspicious.
Why?
The aircraft's name APR001 stands for April 1, or April Fool's day.
So could this be a well played April Fool's stunt?
No one knows yet, and it looks like we'll have to wait for the airline's updates on the matter. But until then, there's nothing wrong with planning a trip on APR001, is there?
