From the moment they walk in to the very second they leave the restaurant, Arabs have a certain unspoken code of conduct when it comes to eating at a buffet, just like they do at any azeeme in Ramadan.

Here are 10 things that are bound to happen when Arabs come across buffet tables:

1. They mentally prepare themselves for the feast of their lives

After secretly waiting for the bravest to get up and head to the table first, they take a deep breath and squeeze in a bismillah before embarking on this journey.

2. They take it as a challenge

You'd think filing the plate only once would be a demotivation, but Arabs take it to a next level challenge and refuse to sit down until their plate looks like a volcano about to erupt.

3. They end up serving themselves too much food

The mentality they're in is something similar to "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. You'll never get it again."

4. But of course, end up regretting it

Once they realize it's literally impossible for a sane human to eat this much food, they instantly regret it and force those around them to have a bite from their plate.

5. Judgmental looks to see the level of plate's repletion appear

Who is going to gain two kilos after this feast and who isn't? An Arab must know.

6. The one who filled their plate the least gets a bahdale (roasting)

"We're paying money for this food, you better get your act together and die of indigestion tonight."

7. While the one who went full force gets a passive-aggressive "mashallah"

That "Mashaaaaaallah" they sing when they mean to say "damn, sis."

8. No matter what, the charge is always considered expensive

"$20 for an all you can eat buffet? Unacceptable."

9. And up for negotiation

Because there's no way you're Arab if you don't bargain.

10. By the end of it, someone has to say "seated dinner is better than a buffet"

Complaining is at the core of who we are. Deal with it.
