Watch What Happens When You Press 'Insane Mode' on Tesla's Latest Car

Of course Elon Musk's lastest Tesla, the Model S P85D, has an "Insane Mode." Of course.

At StepFeed, we are slightly obsessed with Elon Musk. We were even thinking of making a whole section dedicated to his exploits. From innovating rocket landings to trying to deliver high-speed around the world (Lebanon says, yes please!), Musk is pretty cool dude.

And this week, the billionaire just got a bit cooler when Tesla, his electric car company, announced the "Insane Mode" for driving the new dual-motor Model S P85D. This model, announced last year, will retail for $ 120,170 .

When in "Insane Mode," the dual-motor Model S P85D goes from from 0 to 110 kph in 3.2 seconds . This puts the dual-motor Model S Tesla in the same rank as sports cars by Lambourghinis, Ferraris or Porshes, which is no small feat for an electric car.

In an especially cool twist, to activate this feature, the driver has to stop the car completely and then push the "Insane Mode" button, which we find both cheeky and fun.

The test-users in the video by Drag Times seem to think so too. With some passengers remarking that it feels like a roller coaster, to other, less savory exclamations, this feature is pretty cool. Check out the full video below.

Two thumbs up Mr. Musk, two thumbs up.
