May 6, 1918 – exactly 100 years ago – was the day Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, one of modern history's most inspirational leaders who envisioned and eventually transformed the future of the UAE, was born in Abu Dhabi's Qasr Al Hosn.
On Sunday, the UAE celebrated and remembered its visionary leader who dedicated his life to the Emirati people and the improvement of the nation.
To honor the 100th anniversary of the late Sheikh Zayed, Dubai-based 'New Dimension Productions' (NDP) created an incredibly accurate 3D video hologram that is as close to reality as modern technology can get.

The team at NDP carried out extensive research of Sheikh Zayed’s mannerisms and carefully studied his tone of voice, facial expressions, and body gestures.
"The project, which challenges the regional motion picture production capabilities, was inspired by Dubai's vision to pioneer and lead the future in terms of visual FX productions," Hasan Hina, the co-founder and CEO of New Dimension Productions told StepFeed.
"Knowing that the year holds the name of the founder of the nation Sheikh Zayed, we took the initiative to reproduce his memorial speech by incorporating 3D modeling and animation technologies, resulting in a photorealistic production that transcends beyond time," Hina added.
People from across the UAE, as well as the region, were quick to share the now-viral video, which has already amassed nearly 67,000 views since it was first uploaded on Sunday.
