It seems like every week a new "most expensive" item shows up in the United Arab Emirates. And this week was no different with the official Guiness World Records' confirmation that the diamond studded Gibson created by the UAE's very own Lifestyle Fine Jewelry has taken home the title of Most Valuable Guitar.

And how much is the world's most valuable guitar? Try a whopping $2 million. We hope that with all those diamonds it still sounds good.

Created in collaboration with Lifestyle Fine Jewelry's Hong-Kong-based parent company Aaron Shum with diamond's sponsored by the Hong Kong firm Chow Tai Fook, the absurdly expensive instrument was created to raise awareness of Aaron Shum's signature brand CORONET®.

Containing 11,441 400 carat diamond pieces set in 1.6 kg of 18k of white gold, the guitar was designed by Mark Lui. However, Lui had help with some 62 artisans working on the project taking an estimated 700 days to complete. The Guitar has been dubbed "Eden of Coronet."

Lifestyle Fine Jewelry is based in the UAE but also has branches in other Gulf countries.
