On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump invited a team of footballers to dinner at the White House after they won the College Football Playoff National Championship.

The Clemson champions were served burgers, fries, pizza ... most of which came from fast food chains such as McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's.

According to ESPN, the president paid for the meal himself because of the partial government shutdown. His dinner ceremony broke the internet, with many trolling him over it.

Though Trump didn't reveal how much the far-from-extravagant-feast cost him, numbers being speculated range between $900 and $3,000.

Think of how many delicious Arab dishes you could serve with that amount of money. Why imagine? Let's take a look at local dishes that are pretty inexpensive (but fit) for dinner parties.

Dear Trump, take note for next time.

1. Hummus bites as hors d'oeuvres

Sophisticated and simple all at once.

2. Wara2 3enab bites are a must

Because no Arab dinner service is complete without them.

3. Batata Harra

Because who needs French fries when there's this? Simple, budget-friendly, and bursting with flavor.

4. Sambosas

For $900, we could fill up that dining hall from floor to ceiling.

5. Tabbouleh

An inexpensive super dinner starter.

6. Mini shawarmas

The best food you can find on any buffet.

7. Falafel bites

Inexpensive yet delicious.

8. Why not falafel burgers, too?

American fast food who?

9. Musakhan wraps

What's not to love here?

10. Add a nutty rice dish to complete the savory feast

Yum.

11. And kubbah, of course

Kubbah for life.

12. It's an Arab feast, so guests must have dessert

Tamriyyas (date truffles) for everyone.

13. You thought one dessert would do?

Remembers it's an ARAB feast.

14. And in accordance with Arab hospitality

Coffee for everyone.

A dinner party done right, Mr. President.
