It's not everyday that you accidentally text a full set of selfies of yourself to a complete stranger.

Meet 23-year-old Umulkhayr Hussein, a normal girl living in London and who has casually gone viral over a tweet recently.

We all had to deal with low memory storage in one way or another, but Hussein outsmarted us all when she decided to text pictures to herself on WhatsApp rather than saving them on her phone.

The one thing she got wrong, however, was her actual phone number.

As it turns out, she was texting her selfies to a number that differs from hers by just one digit.

Hussein shared to Twitter a screenshot of the short psychedelic conversation she had. Soon after, the tweet went viral with over 10,000 retweets and 32,000 likes.

"It's me, who are you[?]" Hussein replied after the anonymous stranger replied to her selfie asking who she is.

She later clarified that she accidentally saved her third digit as 5 instead of 4.

Hussein thought she was having a conversation with herself

Since she's fasting and has a full-time job, she had no idea about the virality of the tweet except until when the media started reaching out to her. She told StepFeed she hasn't spoken to the person at all since the tweet went viral.

"I’ve been sending selfies to myself for a while to sort out storage issues," Hussein told StepFeed.

"I’d say for a good few months before this incident occurred. I don’t know how I didn’t notice haha, I’m quite busy so I guess I wasn’t very careful."

Though she thought tweeting the screenshot would be harmless, Hussein made sure to ask for the selfie receiver's consent.

"Thankfully, she was!" Hussein explained.

People on Twitter loved the gaffe

*Insert Spiderman meme*

"Fully took me out"

Blame it on the fasting?

"It's me" really got to people

She had a full-on Adele moment

"Been laughing for 10 min"

"It could've been much worse"

Not everyone thought the mishap was hilarious, though

"The worrying thing is she will probably qualify as a surgeon or Mayor of London judging by the headscarf," read a comment on The Sun's article about Umulkhayr's accidental spam session.

Hussein took the racist comment with a grain of salt and replied jokingly saying, "qualified surgeon thanks to my chiffon scarves."
