According to a recent survey conducted by The Reputation Institute (RI), Dubai and Cairo were ranked amongst the most reputable cities in the world for 2017.
The ranking came in a survey published by the Boston-based reputation-management consulting firm and institute which "ranks cities, countries, companies and institutions on their reputation amongst the general public."
This year's list is topped by Sydney, Australia. The city has held the top spot for three consecutive years.
Featuring over 23,000 consumer ratings collected in G8 countries, the survey is based on people's perceptions and their level of trust, esteem, admiration, and respect towards each respective city.
Findings are "grouped into three dimensions: Advanced Economy, Effective Government and Appealing Environment. Cities with strong reputations are perceived positively in all three dimensions."

With a total of 71.5 Rep track points.
Cairo, Egypt... ranked 56 globally
With a total of 54.7 Rep track points.
