Dubai-based Trekkies have been on the edge of their seats for months, eagerly anticipating the arrival of  Star Trek Beyond 's cast and crew in Dubai.

Now that they have landed, Instagrammers have captured a few behind the scenes looks at the production. Over the weekend it appears filming was taking place in Dubai International Financial Centre .
