A video of a Royal Jordanian pilot, Captain Yousef Al Dajeh, hitting back at Donald Trump's declaration of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, while on a flight from Amman to New York, is going viral on social media.
In the footage, the pilot is heard saying:
“We will be heading towards Palestine now, and will then fly north from Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine, to John F. Kennedy International Airport."
According to Roya news, Al Dajeh made the announcement earlier this week, as his flight entered Palestinian airspace.
The footage comes just over a week after President Donald Trump said the U.S. will recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and at a time when millions continue to denounce the decision, including world leaders.
As the now-viral video continues to make the rounds online, thousands are hailing Al Dajeh for his move.
