A prominent Kuwaiti businessman has gone missing in Prahova, a south-central county of Romania.
According to reports, 75-year-old Mohammed Al Baghli went out from his palace for his routine jog at 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 5. He never returned home, raising alarm from local authorities.
Baghli is one of the most prominent Gulf investors in Prahova and has maintained his palace residence in the area for almost 20 years. Police and investigators fear he may have been abducted for ransom and have launched a large-scale search.
His family has already offered to pay a hefty price to any potential captors, however no information has been learned about his possible whereabouts. Police also fear that bears or wild dogs might have attacked Baghli.
As Prohova is located on the edge of the fabled vampire region of Transylvania, some may also fear that the poor man has suffered a far worse fate.
