This week, rainfall in Lebanon brought the country to a halt, wreaking havoc on entire cities. 

Highways and homes flooded, cars drowned, and roads that were previously blocked by protestors taking part in the country's ongoing revolution were shut down by nature. 

Now you might say floods happen everywhere and you're right, they do. But in Lebanon, they come infused with sewage water and garbage. They also lead to tragic deaths and catastrophic damages, which is something that doesn't make any sense in a country where billions of dollars are said to have been spent on non-existent infrastructure. 

The lack of the aforementioned means that even slight rainstorms leave the country in chaos and result in situations that are as funny as they are unacceptable and plain sad. Here's a glimpse into a few of them:
