Over the past few years, English singer, songwriter, and model Dua Lipa has taken the world by storm, and it's safe to say that her fans in Abu Dhabi are blown away.

Over the weekend, the 22-year-old artist performed at du Forum on Yas Island to around 3,000 fans ... but that wasn't even the highlight of her trip to the UAE.

Lipa made it out to the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the capital, and the internet couldn't help but pun.

It was simply the singer's first name combined with her visit to the holy mosque that sparked a meltdown on Twitter ... as her name is pronounced "dua'a" in Arabic, which translates to invocation.

So, there was one question that people couldn't help but ask...

Did Dua make dua'a during her visit to the mosque?

First things first, PUNS had to be made

Questions for Dua about Dua'a had to be asked

"May your Dua be accepted, inshallah"

Requests for name changes followed: Halal Lipa?

"Nur Halipah" WINS over the internet

References to Lipa's "New Rules" were made

"Our respectful sister, Dua'a"

Some took their excitement a bit too far...
