The Hadid family does not shy away from >embracing their Palestinian heritage, and the latest to do so is Anwar Hadid.
The 19-year-old recently made it out to Palestine with a few friends, documenting a lot of it on social media.
"My brothers and I touched the mother land today ... much culture and beauty and people that need to be seen and heard," the model wrote in one >Instagram caption.
"Hopefully we can show you guys the deep-rooted details that affect our people every day, even the ones who are too young to understand. I feel like this could give us all good perspectives of our own lives, to see what is truly true and real vs what is told to us to be true," he added.
The 19-year-old did not fail to share photos of his journey through an incredibly authentic lens.
He visited the Palestinian town of Jericho, located near the Jordan River in the West Bank, as well as Nazareth, his father's hometown.
"Our home land. Where I was born is Nazareth. Where your grandparents (my mom and dad) were living is a town named Safad," Mohamed Hadid wrote in a comment on his son's Instagram upload.
Jordanian-Palestinian-American Mohamed Hadid, the father of the Hadid models, is currently a real estate developer in the United States.
The 70-year-old was born in Nazareth during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. His family fled the war torn country when he was just 18-months-old, and sought refuge in Syria at the time. At the age of 14, Hadid made it out to the U.S.
His family's support was all over Instagram

The 19-year-old model is the youngest sibling of the Hadid family.
In April, Anwar and his sisters, Gigi and Bella, made a surprise appearance at the Arab Conference at Harvard in support of their father as he talked about the family's Palestinian roots.
His sisters have stood in solidarity with Palestine numerous times in the past. In Dec. 2017, supermodel Bella Hadid >expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine in light of U.S. President Donald Trump's problematic recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Months later, Gigi Hadid >took to social media to call out Israeli crimes and voiced her support for Palestine. This came in response to Israel's crackdown on Palestinians in Gaza who were protesting the U.S. embassy move to Jerusalem.
