7 times supermarkets just didn’t get Ramadan

#RamadanFail

There are special marketing tactics that supermarkets and retail stores all over the world turn to before and during the holy month of Ramadan.

This is because the month is known to be a period of time when people stock up on staples needed to prepare the daily iftar and suhoor.

While some stores are often right on point with much-needed promotions and beautiful decorations/banners featuring Ramadan greetings, others seem to completely not get what the holy month is all about.

From misplaced items to cringeworthy banner mistakes, here are a few times supermarkets just didn't get Ramadan and made us all go:

1. When a market thought this was an appropriate Ramadan greeting

2. When this grocery store thought Pork was a "Ramadan need"

3. When someone put "pigs in a blanket" here

4. When this Ramadan sale went terribly wrong

5. When another supermarket just didn't grasp the idea of Ramadan

6. When this happened in yet another store

7. And if you thought the mayhem was only confined to offline stores, you're wrong!
