2. Pack a sandwich for Lebanon's largest picnic ever

Set to take place on August 21, City Picnic is going to be held at one of Beirut’s largest green spaces, the Beirut Hippodrome . Doors open at 11 a.m. Tickets can be bought at the door at a price of $10 for adults and $5 for those under 12.

3. Check out " Joon On The Moon " events this month

For all the coloring enthusiasts and game night lovers, Joon On The Moon has got your back.

4. Head to the mountains for " Souk El Akel "

Normally, Souk el Akel is held in Downtown Beirut every Thursday. But it's heading up for cooler air this summer. From August 5-7, Souk El Akel will be in the scenic mountain town of Tannourine. Earlier this season, the street food festival took on Broumanna, Faraya and many more . It would be a good idea to keep an eye out for other upcoming ventures.

5. Get a taste of local wine at the newly opened " Zawya Wines "

6.  Go off the beaten track to Hammana Artist House

The Hammana Artist House is a new space dedicated to all kinds of performing arts located in the pristine Hamanna village in the Baabda district. There are numerous things to see in the village while you're there such as the gorgeous Shaghour waterfall and Al Mezher Palace.
