American author and YouTuber John Green is touring refugee camps in Jordan.
Green traveled to Jordan with the UNHCR on a mission to help "communicate some of their [the refugees] extraordinary stories of escape and survival and help highlight the vital role of UNHCR in supporting and protecting refugees," according to the UNHCR website .
The writer visited both the Azraq and Zaatari camps, interacting with people who have fled Syria, as well as people who are working on improving their situation.
