An organization has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Zoomaal to help a group of 18 young mentally disabled individuals become professional bakers. And they're already making cookies!
"With your help we can raise the funds needed to create our own brand, package and sell our products in popular street markets," Al Majal, the organization behind the campaign, says on the crowdfunding page .
The organization aims to raise funds to cover logistical costs including the brand and logo design, raw materials, packaging, a selling booth, transportation, new recipes and qualified coaches.
"If you help we can work, produce, sell and live!"

After many intense training hours, the individuals are encouraged to seek professional careers that allow them to earn a salary.
