The Middle East boasts one of the world’s most engaged Twitter audiences, and regionally, the growing numbers of Twitter users in countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE have made the MENA region one of the most important regions for the real-time information network.
In November, Twitter extended its product offering by doubling its character limit from the previous 140 characters to 280.
