J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, has released the names of 5 new magic schools all over the world, which adds up to 8 confirmed magic schools.

There's Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Scotland, Durmstrang Institute in Norway or Sweden, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in France, Castelobruxo in Brazil, Ilvermorny in North America, Uagadou School of Magic in Uganda, Mahoutokoro School of Magic in Japan and Koldovstoretz in Russia.

However, it is also canonically confirmed, through the entry about Durmstrang on Pottermore, that there are 11 magic schools in the world, rather than only 8. The entry reads, "Durmstrang once had the darkest reputation of all eleven wizarding schools, though this was never entirely merited," which can only mean there are more schools to be revealed!

Harry Potter has a huge readership around the globe, including the Arab world. And while countries like Brazil, Norway, Russia and Japan got their magic schools, we deserve one too. Arabs have begun voicing contempt at the fact that we still don't have a wizarding school of our own on Twitter.

Their questions need to be answered but until now, we have none. So, people have decided to create the Arab schools for themselves, with locations ranging from the UAE to Palestine. Here are the most interesting suggestions about where an Arab wizarding school could be.
