Life is already too expensive for most people, so when it's sales season, you know some mental and physical preparations are going to be needed.

These two are so important that it seems Saudi men were ready for a proper fight over pressure cookers that were being sold for 10 riyals ($2.6). That's definitely a price you wouldn't see anywhere near such an appliance, which is why a stampede was a few seconds from taking place.

Luckily for Saudi online users, a video of a bunch of men fighting over the last pressure cooker was uploaded online during the weekend, and it was not too far from a Game of Thrones battle.

Some shoved and pushed, others tried tugging the prized pot out of each others arms ... ultimately resulting in a scene that's crazy and hilarious all at once.

It remains unclear when or where the incident took place. However, a few tweeps claimed it happened at a store located in the kingdom's Najran city, while others said the shop is in Hafr Al Batin.

All over pressure cookers

The action didn't only go down inside the store

Hundreds lined up for this sale

This isn't the first time a sale sparks such a frenzy in the kingdom

In 2017, a video of women in abayas going crazy over sales at a Saudi department store broke the internet ... just like they broke the racks and hangers.

At the time, the clip was released by Live Leak, and shows hundreds of women aggressively snatching clothing items off the racks, causing them to tip over and fall.

A similar thing also happened in Lebanon

It's actually quite a global phenomenon

Similar scenes are captured every single year on Black Friday, which is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving in the U.S.

The mega sales day, also regarded as the start of the Christmas shopping season, sees thousands of retail stores offering discounts reaching up to 90 percent.

Though Black Friday is originally specific to the U.S., it has slowly made its way to the rest of the world, including the Arab region.
