A viral video of a Bahraini man slapping an Asian laborer drew harsh criticism online, leading to the Bahraini man's arrest along with his three accomplices.

Bahrain's foreign minister, Khalid Bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, was one of the first to condemn the attack on Twitter writing: "He came from his country, enduring alienation and leaving his family behind, to do the most demanding job for a small salary. Then a despicable person comes and slaps him. May God take his right back."

Soon after police officers reacted to the video, arresting the men involved saying, "The police of the Southern Governorate, acting upon the circulation on social media of the assault clip, arrested four people implicated in the incident," according to Gulf News.

Props to Bahrain for respecting the humanity of its expat laborer population, something not always common in the region. Watch the video of the despicable incident below.
