"Emirates has been screening all 64 matches on board its aircraft with live TV so that sports fans do not miss a single moment of football's most anticipated event," a spokesperson from the Dubai-based Emirates airline told Arabian Business.

According to The Telegraph, for only the second time in FIFA World Cup history, passengers on some airlines will be able to watch the matches live at 37,000 feet.

Apart from Emirates, airlines offering this free service on channel Sport 24 to traveling passengers include Aeroméxico, Air Italy, American Airlines, Etihad, Lufthansa, and Turkish Airlines among several others.

Here is how social media reacted to the now-viral video:

"Awesome"

Some just wanted to be on that flight...

"I wish [to] experience this"

While others asked their preferred airlines when they'll start doing the same...

"Emirates won on this point"
