When I returned to Lebanon, I noticed that people here are different than the Lebanese people who were living in Saudi Arabia, mainly in the way they communicate with each other. Aside from the fact that they tend to stare a lot, they also have a habit of blurting out everything that comes to mind regardless of how offensive or racist it might sound. That's not to say that they're intentionally trying to offend you because most of the time, it's just their way of talking.

1. If you lost weight, you'd look so much better!

Like get a life!

Because here's the thing. If you EVER comment about my weight, you and I are going to have a VERY big problem. Because unlike you, I'm actually trying to lose weight and adopting a healthier lifestyle. Now can we discuss your scrawny figure?

2. When are you going to get married?

I can barely hang out with people for more than 3 hours, you want me to live with someone.. like forever? Are you high?

3. You're so white! You need a tan!

I happen to think my black hair and pale skin are very sexy, thank you very much!

Also, I don't tan. I just burn, turn to ashes and come back from the dead.. repeatedly.
