A Saudi father studying in the UK went viral earlier this week after he tweeted out a considerate email he got from his daughter's school asking how they can support her during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking to Alwan News, Mohammad Al Qahtani, an Engineer currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the United Kingdom, explained the reason why he shared the email on Twitter

"My goal was to let people know about this system that puts education first, and works to ensure nothing negatively affects a student's performance," he said.

Al Qahtani also added that he responded to the email explaining to school officials what his daughter Jana and other Muslim students would need during their days of fasting.

Just hours after he uploaded his tweet, it went viral, sparking a meltdown of the sorts on Saudi Twitter.

It all started when the student's father tweeted this out...

"As Ramadan approaches, my daughter's school in the UK sent me a letter asking if she is going to fast or not and whether she will need anything to help her during the month. Such a beautiful gesture on their behalf, one that shows their respect for our beliefs and religion."

It then went viral...

And is still circulating online...

Some responded to the tweet with hate...

"Their gesture is kind and civilized but they remain apostates who have their own perspective on Islam, Muslims, and the fight against our religion."

Not everyone did though

"To those who are attacking and criticizing this, learn from them. British people respect the freedom of belief. I wish we could be like them."

Some loved the gesture

"Such a beautiful gesture."

"I wish extremists here would learn from them"

"True civilization and humanity"

"And unfortunately, in our schools kids are still taught to call them apostates"

"Civilized societies care about human beings and their rights regardless of their gender or nationality"
