We all vent when we're angry. Letting off some steam could come in the form of a 30-minute boxing session or a 60-minute rant with another human. The utterance of a short phrase sometimes gets the job done even better than those aforementioned methods. The latter is the mechanism Arabs usually opt for because it's the only thing that really allows us to fesh khili2na right in the heat of it all.

As such, Arabs have perfected the art of venting without having to lift a finger. And the credit goes to the Arabic language as it provides its speakers with a plethora of expressions and phrases that really let the anger drip quickly out of one's body in mere seconds.

On-point expressions allow us to communicate exactly how we're feeling without much effort. Here are a few of our favorites:

1. "La teeze" = To my butt

Mostly used in Lebanon, this phrase is our go-to when we want to express that we really don't give two shits about something.

2. "Bil tagag" = I couldn't care less

In Kuwait, this is mostly used as a response when someone says they're mad at you for no reason at all.

3. "Gatak waksa" = May a catastrophe befall you

Egyptians use this phrase to express anger at someone. It's sort of an Arab "go to hell," and it's pretty savage if you ask us.

4. "Kol khara/kel teben" = Eat shit

Popular across the Arab world, this savage phrase can silence anyone who's bothering you.

5. "Kol hawa" = eat air/shut up

Mostly used in Lebanon and the Levant, this is the magic phrase for when someone keeps talking nonsense.

6. "Tfoo 3leik" = I spit on you

One of the most savage Arab phrases and it's often used to express utter disgust.

7. "La ijre" = I don't care

The Lebanese use this to literally show people just how much they don't care about something.

8. "Inta shakoo?" = What's it to you?

In Kuwait, this is what people use to get someone to mind their own business. Some people in Gulf countries like to borrow the phrase too.

9. "Inta 7mar" = You're an a**hole

A favorite across the Arab world, this phrase basically explains itself in all its savageness.
