This Syrian artist draws portraits of celebrities that look so real

The ongoing war in Syria has left many homeless, many dead and many unsure where their future stands. But, it has also led numerous people to produce art as an outlet to express or mentally distract themselves.

One such artist is Jawad Alghezi, who is currently residing in Seattle, Washington after fleeing his town in Syria. Alghezi's portraits redefine art, presenting their subjects in an incredibly realistic way.

The Turkish actor and model has the lead role in the Turkish drama series "Mohannad and Nour." The series was translated into Arabic and has made avid fans out of Arabs across the region.
