It's definitely humorous to watch as the Saudi dancers directed by Majedalesa shuffles their feet to the left and strut like birds across the screen in trendy outfits, while the catchy beat of the music somehow transforms the ridiculous movements into something rather, well, cool.
While many young Arabs have taken to social media to share their own version of the trending dance called "Barbs" (Untidy or Messy) ...
Others in the region aren't so impressed. Two Emiratis were even arrested after performing the dance in military uniforms.

The two national servicemen were charged by the Abu Dhabi government with disrespecting their uniform and the national army, according to the Washington Post .
Conservative columnists and critics in Saudi Arabia have said the dance should be boycotted.
Some have even called for the arrest of the young dancers for their "indecent" moves.
However, with nearly 20 million views on YouTube, it doesn't look like this Saudi dance is going anywhere anytime soon ...
