Dubai's crown prince is no stranger to social media and now he's expanded into the digital world further, joining Linkedin.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed posted the news on Twitter, saying this will be "a new platform to communicate with the public."

In two more tweets, Sheikh Hamdan explained that the Linkedin page would be used to keep the public in the know about projects and initiatives being worked on in Dubai. He also emphasized the emirate's efforts to connect with people "wherever they are, through various social media platforms."

The page lists his work experience: Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council (10 years 9 months).

His education: Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government and The London School of Economics and Political Science.

His interests: His schools, the Dubai government, Pulse and ... his father!

Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has been on Linkedin for a while now

As for Sheikh Hamdan, he's already the most popular Arab royal on Instagram

With 5.3 million followers, Sheikh Hamdan – or Faz3 as he's nicknamed – has more fans on Instagram than Jordan's Queen Rania (3.2 million) and his own father (2.4 million).

While most of us use Linkedin to build a professional profile and find new work opportunities, it's probably safe to say that the crown prince isn't exactly searching for a job.

But Sheikh Hamdan is definitely building his public image further through the social media channel, showing that he's more than the fun-loving daredevil Faz3 we see on Instagram. He's also a serious and future-thinking leader, just like his dad.
