These Arab men are way sexier than Blake Shelton ... just saying

As you've probably heard already, American singer Blake Shelton was recently chosen as the "Sexiest Man Alive" by People magazine ... and the internet isn't having it.

The announcement has caused a social media storm of epic proportions, with people lashing out at the magazine for its choice. 

Many people said Shelton, a country singer and The Voice judge, does not deserve the title - not only looks-wise but also considering his personality. 

According to Vox, Shelton has previously made some homophobic, misogynist, and Islamophobic statements, for which he should be condemned rather than publicized.  

Media outlets have also pointed out that People magazine lacks diversity, with only two men of color ever making it to its cover.

In response, social media users have been suggesting men they consider worthier of the title.

The list of men is rather long, so we have decided to narrow it down to men from the Arab world.

Move over Blake Shelton, the "Sexiest Man Alive" is actually Arab:

Arabs most definitely agree. In a post shared via Facebook, Lebanese satirical page Adeela asked its followers to vote for the "Arab sexiest man alive."

The page's followers voted for Hasan as the Arab world's very own sexiest man alive and it's safe to say it's well-deserved.
