The past few days have been hectic for the marketing teams of Middle Eastern airlines, what with the United States and United Kingdom's "electronics ban" announcement.

The ban - which restricts passengers flying from a number of Arab countries and airlines from carrying certain devices on flights - is currently being described as an anti-terrorism precautionary measure.

This means passengers cannot take their laptops, iPads, Kindles, and devices larger than a cellphone, making flights much less entertaining for many travelers.

But, airlines across the Middle East want passengers to know they need not worry about their entertainment. They've got your backs.

1. 12 things to do on a 12-hour flight ... brought to you by Royal Jordanian

2. Emirates brings back an old Jennifer Aniston ad ... just in time!

3. Qatar Airways: who needs a laptop when you've got Oryx One?

4. Turkish Airlines did the math ... and they can provide you with "2 billion minutes" of entertainment
