Lately, efforts to fill the two and half year vacuum in Baabda have intensified, even comprising talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault.

As usual, Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Joumblatt had a pointed remark about the crisis.
