The Emirati passport is already the most powerful in the Arab world, ranking 26th globally, according to the Global Passport Index.
And now, the UAE passport just got even stronger with visa-free access to Tajikistan, Gulf News reported this week.
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced that all Emirati passport holders can now visit the Central Asian country visa-free, thanks to a diplomatic memorandum from Tajikistan's ministry of foreign affairs.
Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs Ahmed Al Dhaheri said that the move "reflects the stature attained by the UAE and contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Tajikistan," according to Emirates 24|7. He added that the decision will open new avenues for trade and tourism.
