The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) just publicly released nearly 470,000 additional files from deceased Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden's home ... and some of them seem just a bit bizarre.

In May 2011, the U.S. conducted a raid on Bin Laden's hideaway in Abbottabad, Pakistan, killing the terrorist once dubbed the "world’s most wanted man."

The Saudi national was the alleged mastermind behind the September 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S., which left thousands of Americans dead and many more injured.

Many of the items revealed by the CIA are somewhat expected, such as Bin Laden's personal journals, videos of executions and files suggesting links to other terrorist organizations around the world.

But the CIA also revealed that Bin Laden had numerous movies, including Western cartoons geared toward children. These films, along with a slew of pornography, were not released by the CIA as they are copyright protected.

Although some may scratch their head and wonder why Bin Laden would have children's cartoons when he was captured, it's important to remember that the terrorist leader was killed in a compound where he lived with several wives and children.

Still, it's kind of bizarre to think that some of these items were found, cataloged and publicly released by the CIA.

Bin Laden had the following cartoon films in his compound

  • Antz
  • Cars
  • Chicken Little
  • Ice Age
  • Shaun the Sheep
  • Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
  • Tom and Jerry
  • Wallace and Gromit

Bin Laden's computer also had stored nearly 200 YouTube files

Including:

  • “Charlie bit my finger”
  • "Funny cats" videos
  •  Mr. Bean (with Pashto subtitles)
  •  A bunch of generic YouTube videos ... and ringtones

And either Bin Laden or someone else in the compound was learning to crochet ...

More than 30 crochet videos were logged in Bin Laden's cache, including:

  • “Crochet Star”
  • "The Art of Crochet by Teresa Radian Crochet Butterfly"
  • “Stripe Crochet Beanie Cap”
  • “How to Crochet a Basket”

As for Bin Laden's porn preferences ... the CIA is keeping that a secret for now

But from some of the file names ... people can use their imaginations.
