Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah started his football career with Egyptian Club El Mokawloon, kicked off his journey in Europe with the Swiss football club FC Basel in 2012, moved to Chelsea in 2014 before finally joining the Liverpool football club this summer.

But, UK sports site Bleacher Report Football claims the 25-year-old winger is "Made in Chelsea," which is far from accurate.

People definitely took notice ... and the trolling began.

Fixing typos: MADE IN EGYPT*

"Chelsea? You strong guy ... don't provoke me"

"Basel, Egypt" ... anything but Chelsea would have passed

"He scores every time against Chelsea"

Sarcasm dominated the conversation

"Nice try"

"Salah was made in Egypt, omm el donya"

"Ignored by Chelsea" is more like it

The Egyptian footballer joined Chelsea in January 2014, but spent the second half of the season on loan at Fiorentina. He then joined Serie A rivals Roma on loan for the 2015/16 season on condition that Chelsea get 10 percent of the future deals Salah takes part in.

In June, Liverpool offered Roma €32 million ($35 million) for the Egyptian winger, a deal that was rejected at the time. Soon after, Liverpool upped its bid, offering a club-record £39 million ($51.9 million) to Roma for the player, finalizing the agreement between the two.

Salah has been on fire since, becoming the first Liverpool player to score nine goals in his opening 12 league games, breaking the record of eight set by Liverpool legend striker Robbie Fowler in 1993.
