There are only so many days in your life where you can say the words, "Did you hear about the guy who got caught trying to smuggle 1.36 million Egyptian pounds inside frozen ducks?"

And perhaps even more interesting: "Yeah, well, the Egyptian official who caught him took a picture with the ducks while flipping the bird!"

If anything, it's definitely a poultry-filled day.

So, yes indeed, an Egyptian man by the name of Tamer, stuffed 1.36 million Egyptian pounds inside raw ducks, placing the poultry in his luggage on the way to Kuwait, according to Cairo Scene.

But, General Hossam Nasr, the airport security manager, caught Tamer at customs ... after his luggage initially passed the first phase of airport screening (what?!).

After discovering the money in the frozen birds, General Nasr and his team decided to pose for a photo, and one guard gave them another bird to end the day. And now it's all viral history.

According to Sadaa News, Tamer has a bachelor's degree in science, specializing in math and works at a food company in Kuwait.

Since the reveal, the smuggler has been in police custody. The ducks have been kept as evidence while they investigate.
