Step aside SkiDubai, Saudi Arabia is going to have it's own city made of snow!
Al Othaim Leisure and Tourism Company is planning to bring the first Snow City to the kingdom on July 13!
The winter wonderland is set to open at Al Othaim Mall Rabwa in Riyadh.
"A touristic attraction of this magnitude coincides with the Kingdom's 2030 vision as well as the direction of the wise governance of the custodian of the two holy mosques, King Salman bin AbulAziz Al Saud, which aims to boost and develop internal tourism," Fahad Bin Abdullah Al Othaim, Chief Executive Officer, said, according to Saudi Gazette .
Spreading across 5,000 square meters, with temperatures less than 3 degrees Celsius all year round, the place will be home to 12 different activities!
Although SkiDubai is a 22,500 square meters ski area, Snow City will also have plenty of options for visitors.
Attractions include a panoramic suspension bridge, ice bumper cars, sledge and ski zone, rope courses, climbing wall and more.
The city will also have its own mascot, a snow man, "Thaluj" and a penguin "Batriqo"
