Crystal Lagoons, the patented technology developer of crystalline lagoons, obtained yet another Guinness World Record as its 12.5-hectare Sharm El Sheikh man-made lagoon project in Egypt was officially recognized as the largest in the world.

Located in Egypt's Sharm El Sheikh, the man-made lagoon is worth $5.5 million and is at the center of CityStars Sharm El Sheikh.

"This adds tangible real estate value to the development,” he added.

Crystal Lagoons has four active projects in Egypt, including the CityStars Sharm El Sheikh lagoon, which is considered to be the company's primary lagoon in the region.

After the company's success in the region, especially Egypt, Crystal Lagoons is currently in the process of developing another project in Sharm El Sheikh. The The 2.7-hectare Radamis Lagoon will be at the center of three mixed-use hotels that are currently in different stages development.

Two other projects are also in the works in Egypt's North Coast, located on the country's Mediterranean Sea, called Swanlake North Coast and Porto Lagoons.
