Dubai's and Abu Dhabi's police get all the attention with their snazzy fast cars, but this time, Sharjah's police decided to jump into the limelight.

The Shajrah Police have just broken a world record!

That's right! The Sharjah police have created the World's Largest Driver's License ...

Huda Khashab, a project manager at Guinness World Records, personally announced the award and presented the certificate on Tuesday morning.

The police department created the gigantic 1.94 meter by 2.94 meter document to increase awareness about the importance of having an official driving license.

"Possessing a driving licence will not just be official proof, it would give the holder a sense of pride that he is a qualified driver," Brigadier Saif Ziri Al Shamsi, commander-in-chief of Sharjah Police, said, according to Gulf News

"To own a license, one should prepare to abide by the rules as well as pass practical tests," he said.

Earlier this month, Dubai's Police were granted a Guinness World Record as well

Dubai Police set a new Guinness World Record for having the fastest police car in the world, a Bugatti Veyron.

A delegation from the Guinness World Records met Dubai Police chief, Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri and handed him the certificate during the 11 Best Police Practices Forum.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are internationally known for their luxury police cars

But UAE police are also quite creative with their policing

UAE police have turned a fake cardboard police cars to deter speeding drivers in Umm Al Quwain.

With a convincing paint job and flashing lights, the two-dimensional police car has been making Fast & Furious wannabes check themselves.

And robo-cops are coming to the UAE this year

The UAE's first Robot Cop is set to join the Dubai Police by May, and they will make up 25 percent of the force by 2030.

Maybe UAE police should be named the World's Most Creative Police Force?
